Valentine’s Day is coming up and it’s the perfect time for one of my favorite projects, making fresh flower valentines. If you miss the days of giving everyone in your class a valentine, try making mini valentine arrangements this year. It's a quick, cute project that let's you mix basic floral design with your inner kid self. You will need an assortment of flowers and small vases. I really like playing with these mini vials, and votive holders. You’ll also need a mix of décor. I use ribbon, stickers and valentine tags. Now it’s time to design. You can make mini arrangments, with single flowers or play around with combinations of greens, filler and flowers. I suggest using odd numbers of blooms and be sure to give each stem a new cut, so your valentines last as long as possible. I made a mini demo video to show you! Once you’ve made your mini designs, it’s time to decorate. Add stickers, bows, tags, or whatever you can think of to make your mini floral valentines more fun.
Happy Valentine's Day!
