Stop and watch the leaves fall .On this ultimate day of this wild ride of an election, I’ve heard several people tell me how much anxiety they are feeling. And it makes sense. Today the whole world is watching to see who gets elected. While there’s excitement in the air, there’s also anxiety everywhere. On this monumental day, you should get out and vote. But, aIso be sure to unwind. Here’s my favorite new mindfulness practice to help: Over the last week, I’ve been going outside often and just watching the leaves fall. It’s a simple practice, but one of the most peaceful, beautiful, and easy ways to get grounded. I love watching a single leaf as it dances and spirals towards the earth. Magic. If you live in a place where there’s really a Fall, try watching the leaves today and the rest of the week. If not, check out my leaf fall video.
